:: WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY::

When making photos during a wedding my eye is on catching all the big, meaningful moments, but also the smaller, but not less meaningful details: a smile, a touch. Together these moments make the day. The newlywed couple must be able to relive and “refeel” their day when looking at the wedding pictures afterwards. Composition and detail are always on my mind (and eye) when shooting the photos. While shooting during a wedding I am focused and concentrated, but very aware of what is happening. It is important not to interfere in what is happening and catch the moments as they occur….

That’s why it is important to discuss wishes, expectations etc in front. Not only about what parts of the day pictures will be taken, the album (digital and/or print) and whether posed pictures should be taken, but also about the style of the photos (classical, artistic) and about the persons who are special to the bride and groom to be and whose presence should be captured. Sharing these and other wishes in time will make my job during a wedding exciting and fun, because I know I am doing what the happy couple wants. As for the happy couple themselves: they will have an exciting and fun day anyway…
